First School Delay

Our first storm happened this weekend.
It was a very big storm it snowed around 7 inches.
The storm was mostly done by Sunday morning.
Even with this happening on Sunday we got a 2 hour delay.
They say it was because of fog, but why would they make the decision the night before.
It doesn't make sense.
Many days we have had fog, but we have never had a delay.
Anyway here's to a possible snow day tomorrow.

Courage

Courage come in different levels.
It's not only saving people's lives.
People have courage just getting out of bed on hard days.
It takes courage to tell people thing that could be tough like lies.
So courage can be anything.

Weather Stations

I don't know how any weather people still have jobs.
All they do is talk and get predictions wrong.
They say it's going to snow 8 inches, doubt it.
The best source it think for weather and snow predictions is accuweather.
Accu Weather was the only site to get a close to accurate prediction of 4 inches.
I think this is going to be my new weather web site.
I think its great.

Leadership

Leadership can be a good thing. 
It's what makes people civilized, But...
Leadership can become terrible though.
When people start to believe everything that leaders say thing like the holocaust can happen.
People in Germany believed everything that Hitler said and that caused many problems.
This is what i think of leadership.

Giving

I think giving things is fun.
Once for Christmas I gave everybody something.
It wasn't much, but it was something that they liked.
My cousin that likes fishing got a art project fish.
My uncle got some popcorn.
I think that these presents that were small or even used meant more to them than new things.
They knew that I tried and that I knew what they liked.
It felt good to not get and to give.
But i got some presents too.

Why will It Not Snow

I want it to snow.
But it won't.
It always snows when you don't want it to.
I really want a snow day.
It would be the best thing to happen since cliches.
Every year on the first snow day i wait for the snow to be plowed.
Then i run out side  and build a snow fort.
The forts have tunnels and and rooms.
I love making them, it's like having your own house.
Then you add on every snow day until it is huge.
My plane for thins year is to have a five foot high tunnel to walk through.
Then small windows and even tunnels on tunnels and more then one story.
This is why this weather is terrible and it needs to get worse to be better.

Hope

Hope is an important thing to people.
I keeps you waiting for the next day.
Kids Hope  for snow days.
Parents hope for fortune.
The jews hoped for freedom.
That is what kept them alive.
Anybody who gave up hope died.
The people that survived always believed that they would survive.
The just said they'll be here the next day.
The allies will save us.

Adaptations

Every thing in the world adapts.
Fish, turtles, cat, dogs, and even humans adapt.
I think it is sad how people adapted in the holocaust.
People in the concentration camps had to find was to survive.
Some even took jobs abusing friend and relatives to stay alive longer.
I think this is terrible and it should never happen again.

Snow

almost everybody hates winter, but I don't.
I think its great.
It has Christmas and snow.
During Christmas you get presents and get to see family.
When it snows you get snow days which are possibly the best days ever.
You can make snow men and you can build snow forts.
Once I built a fort with a lot of tunnels and a room.
I plan to build even better ones this year.

Fish

Last Friday my friend and I were bored so we went to Wal-Mart.
We got there at 11:45 p.m.
The store was pretty slow with hardly any people except for workers and people around our age?
What everyone was doing there so close to midnight I haven't an idea.
So we walked around doing random things and finding amazing things that nobody needs we came across the fish section.
My friend had a gift card and decided he needed a fish.
They had coy and tetras and crabs and sharks but he had his eye on a puffer fish.(very cool)
After waiting there for a while we went to get somebody to help us.
He had no idea what he was doing and put the fish in fresh water and gave it to us.
We checked out at the register with many funny looks. (it was 12:15 a.m.)
We got the fish and brought it home to a nice big tank.
Then the fish was happy and swam around a lot.

beauty

Beauty is a relative term.
One person may think one thing is beautiful and another may not.
People have strong opinions on what is pretty or not.
They should be able to say them.
I think beauty is anything that takes you breath away.
Maybe like some mountains or somebody doing flips.
The main idea is only you can say what is beautiful.

Halloween

I think halloween is for all ages.
Anyone should be able to go trick or treating under one condition.
They either have kids or are wearing a costume.
I think anybody giving out candy will let you have some as long as you have halloween spirit.
So just dress up and get some candy.

People

For my eagle scout project I build benches.
I got people to help me build them.
Then today we were going to stain them and nobody came at the right time.
I had to rely on my friends to come and help me.
So now I see that you can never really trust anyone to come help you.

Justice

Justice is a great thing.
It is the only thing that keeps the world inbalance.
It keeps people alive and without harm.
Some laws are bad but they need to be changed in a civil manner.
You shouldn't break the law.
Even if the laws are wrong.

Eagle Project

I got some people to help finish my eagle project.
I made 4 benches that fold into to tables.
Now all I have to do is have people stain them and then I will do my paperwork.
Then I will be able to get my drivers license.
I am excited.

World Series

Win Twins Win
I wish.
The Minnesota Twins are a great baseball team.
They have talent young and old.
Danny Valencia would have had a change for rookie of the year if he had got to play more earlier.
Jim Thome is 40 years old passing records and still crushing 480 foot homeruns.
I think the Twins are World Series prone.
One stupid thing stands in our way, the Yankees.
The Yankees are the stuck up spoiled kids of the MLB.
They are way overrated, the players and the team.
The Twins can beat most teams in baseball, but for the playoffs we always get matche with the Yankees.
They are the only team that consistently beats us.
I'm sick of it ANYBODY CAN WIN THE WORLD SERIES.
Your just need to buy the best team and that's what the Yankees do.
It needs to be STOPPED.

Home Coming

Our schools home coming was last Friday.
Our football team isn't superbowl material, but they try.
Pretty much everyone accepted that they were going to lose.
The stands were still filled because it's HOME COMING.
We played our best against a state ranked team that had only given up 8 points this season.
Obviously we lost but be scored 7 points.
This small score may seem unimportant, but only one other team has scored against them.
So instead of being sad because of loading you have to be happy for scoring.

Noise Concept

Honk beep roar.
Noises can be really annoying.
They wake you up.
They distract you.
Then again silence can distract you more.
It can be creepy and weird when it's too quiet.
The best noise level is around were people normally talk.
I think it is the best compromise.

This Weekend

This weekend I had tons of fun!
On Friday I made a Circle Me Bert sign.
Then I went to a Twins game with some friends.
We got put on the jumbotron in left field.
Then on Saturday my family came over for my birthday.
They gave me presents.
I went bowling with friends later that night.
Lastly I relaxed on Sunday.
I watched movies and did homework.
So that's why my weekend was fun.

My Adventure

The other day my friend and I went to explore a stream.
We road our bikes into a field and down an old abandonded railroad track.
We ditched our bikes at a puddle.
Longer down the path near a bridge there was a tree house.
After awhile of hanging around we saw people.
The land wasn't ours so we ran.
Our course led us up steam and over a bridge that was broken.
We jumped the downed part.
We sprinted the field on the other side and through a swamp.
The water soked our clothes, but we found our way out and on to the trail.
Scared and laughing else rode the bikes into the sunset.

Friendship

Friendship is a good thing.
It helps you get through life.
You know you have somebody to help you.
Friends are their to play games with.
Friends are to go places with.
Friends just make life more fun and easier.

My First Post

This is my first blog post.
My name is John and I am 15 and in the 10th grade.
I will blog about things like sports school life and everything else.
I am in Boy Scouts well on my way to being an Eagle Scout.
I am in 4-H and also play baseball and basketball.
